Beef Burger With Truffled Mushrooms and Caramelised Onions
Ingredients:
- 250g beef mince
- 1 egg
- oregano
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 100g mushrooms, sliced
- Butter
- 1 onion, sliced
- Splash of red wine vinegar
- Splash of soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
Directions:
- First make the burger mixture, by adding your beef mince, 1 egg, 1 tbsp oregano, 1 tbsp paprika & a sprinkle of truffle dust to a mix and mix until fully combined. Leave in the fridge for an hour
- Next fry off the mushrooms with a knob of butter, 1 tbsp oregano and truffle dust. Remove from the pan and leave until later
- Then add the onions to the frying pan, along with the red wine vinegar, soy sauce, honey and salt and pepper. Cook on a medium heat until they’re golden and sticky. Remove from the pan and leave until later
- Roll burger mixture into small patties and add to the frying pan on a medium – high heat. Cook for a couple of minutes of each sides
- Lightly toast the buns and then add the burger, top with the caramelised onions and truffle-infused mushrooms
