Truffalo Wings with Blue cheese dip
Ingredients:
- 1kg chicken wings
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 50g butter
- 70g truffle hot sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 150g blue cheese
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp vinegar
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 200c
- Begin by drying the wings on paper towels then add to a bowl with the paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper and salt and pepper. Drizzle with a little vegetable oil then mix everything together.
- Place the wings on a rack over a baking tray then place in the oven for 40 mins.
- Meanwhile, make the buffalo sauce. In a small pan, melt the butter then add the hot sauce and honey and cook gently for one minute then take off the heat and allow to cool.
- To make the blue cheese dip simply mix together the sour cream, Worcestershire sauce and vinegar then crumble in the blue cheese and set aside.
- When the wings are cooked, take them out of the oven, add to a large bowl, pour over the buffalo sauce and toss well.
