Grade A Fresh Black Autumn Truffles (Tuber Uncinatum) – 200g

Tuber Uncinatum, the Burgundy Truffle usually range from between 3-8cm in size. This truffle is easily recognised by its dark bark and wart shaped elevations. Once sliced, the Tuber Uncinatum shows a dark brown interior with fine white veins. The Black Autumn Truffle has an intense hazelnut and earthy aroma which is unmistakably recognisable. The initial taste varies and can sometimes have slightly bitter notes. However, over time and with maturation these will disappear and make room for a full hazelnut aroma.

NOTICE ABOUT ORDERING

Our truffles are freshly extracted, collected and cleaned before being sent to us to satisfy our orders. The way it works in terms of ordering is incredibly simple, but you must plan ahead.

We work on a weekly fulfilment programme which means that all orders are dispatched on a Wednesdays for delivery in time for the weekend.

However, all orders must be received before Mondays’s cut off of 1:00pm in order to receive your order that week. All orders received after this point will carry over to the following weeks fulfilment (Bank Holidays may impact the delivery times so please email us if you have specific date requirements).
